  • GAIA Hotel, American Canyon, CA: $20 million, LEED-Gold certified (first in the U.S.) hotel complex.
  • Atman Hotel, Anderson, CA: $20 million, LEED-certified hotel and convention center complex.
  • Gateway Seminary, Fremont, CA: $10 million (est.), 20,000 sq. ft. seminary school.

  • Sisters of the Holy Family, 159 Washington Boulevard, Fremont, CA: $10 million (est.), three multi-unit residential buildings.
  • San Francisco Theological Seminary, 105 Seminary Road, San Anselmo, CA: $9 million, 40,000 sq. ft. seminary complex.
  • 5950 Margarido Drive, Oakland, CA: First LEED-Platinum certified, private residence in California.
  • 7045 Chabot Road, Oakland, CA: First known residence worldwide to employ a damper system for seismic resistance.
  • Marin General Hospital Expansion, Greenbrae, CA. Lead structural engineer for a $25 million, multi-story, steel-framed hospital addition.
  • Gate 48 Condominium, Oakland, CA: $5 million, 12-unit condominium building, 3 stories over a parking garage (podium construction); first use of factory-built modular living units with a pre-cast, pre-stressed deck system.
  • Foothill Condos, Oakland, CA: $6.5 million, 24-unit residential building over a new garage (podium construction).
  • Mariner Estates, Bethel Island, CA: $12 million townhouse complex which required the use of helical anchors.
  • Luzon Building, Tacoma, WA: $4.5 million retrofit and condo conversion of an historic unreinforced masonry building, plus tenant improvements.
  • Creekside Plaza, Berkeley, CA: New 5-story residential / retail structure, required preservation of historic adjacent brick building. More »

  • Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church complex renovation, Oakland, CA: Complete renovation of sanctuary, classroom building, mixed-use building, parking and landscape.
  • Telegraph Apartments interior renovation, Berkeley, CA: 3-story, turn of the century historic building, converted existing multi-unit mix to 10 contemporary 1- and 2-bedroom units, added restaurant to ground floor retail space.
  • Lowell Street/55th & 56th Avenue, Oakland, CA: $2.5 million condominium project.
  • Golden Gate Manor, Oakland, CA: $2.5 million, 7-unit multifamily residential project within the new MBX Building.
  • Virginia Apartments, Berkeley, CA: New 4-unit apartment building.
  • 2312 Fulton Street, Berkeley, CA: $6.6 million office building.
  • Touriel Building, Berkeley, CA: $2.5 million: commercial / residential building.
  • Macedonia Church of God, Oakland, CA: New building including sanctuary, daycare / nursery, commercial kitchen, administrative space. Sanctuary has a 40′ high, steel-framed vault with two-level seating.
  • Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center, San Francisco, CA: $3 million retrofit of an unreinforced masonry building.
  • Salvation Army Thrift Store, San Francisco, CA: $1 million retrofit of an unreinforced masonry building.
  • East Bay Habitat for Humanity, Oakland, CA: $11 million and $16 million townhouse projects.
  • Electrical Generating Authority and Metropolitan Electricity Authority, Thailand. Developed and managed two 45-person Value Engineering programs, including Thailand’s first nationwide high-energy electrical grid, while saving the Thai government $16+ million.
